Personal watercraft use

Below are the guidelines to use your Personal Water Craft (PWC) safely within the Dockyard Port of Clyde.

Regulations

Personal Watercraft can be used in the Dockyard Port of Gareloch and Loch Long, however their use is limited and the following craft / activities are prohibited by the Dockyard Port Order 2011.

  • Water Skiing
  • Jet Skiing
  • Windsurfing
  • Parascending

Windsurfing is permitted in specific areas and these are detailed in KHM’s General Directions.
