Post course recommendations
EW operators and managers should gain training on specific EW equipment fitted to their platforms, if not already done so, prior to consolidating this training at sea. Officers and Senior Rates using the course for command overview purposes would look to gain consolidation in an appropriate environment.
NOTES:
This course provides a broad scope covering all aspects of EW in the maritime domain. It would be suitable for Officers and Senior Rates requiring a comprehensive knowledge of EW capabilities, tactics and planning. Examples include; Ship Operations Officers, Planning Staff, Shore battery commanders and
instructors that require an understanding of Maritime EW. It would also suit senior operators who have or will, conduct training on national equipment. It should be noted that this course does not provide equipment specific training.
